Zubie Driver Check-In: Managing Preferences for Enhanced Control

Zubie is excited to introduce a new set of features that empower our users with greater control over the driver check-in process. With the latest update, Zubie users can now customize their driver check-in preferences through the Account Preferences settings. This enhancement ensures a seamless and secure experience tailored to the unique needs of each user.

How to Access Driver Check-In Preferences

To access the new driver check-in preferences, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the Zubie app on your mobile device.

  2. Navigate to the "Settings" section.

  3. Under "Account Preferences," you'll find the "Driver Check-In" options.

Driver Check-In Options

1. Unrestricted (Default Option)

Description: With the unrestricted option, anyone within your organization can initiate a driver check-in.

Use Case: Ideal for teams where multiple more drivers than vehicles, providing flexibility and accessibility to better driver metrics.

2. Restricted

Description: In restricted mode, only the admin or the Zubie device itself can initiate driver check-ins.

Use Case: Offers enhanced security and control, ensuring that check-ins are managed by authorized personnel only.

3. Disabled

Description: With the disabled option, no driver check-ins can be created.

Use Case: Useful when driver check-ins are not required or need to be temporarily disabled. This setting ensures that no unintentional check-ins take place. Generally used by fleets that have long term assignment of a single driver to a vehicle.
