Driver Check In Using Zubie Dashcam

Learn how drivers can check into vehicles using their Driver ID code with the Zubie dashcam

Updated over 2 months ago

Zubie dashcams enable drivers to check into the vehicle by displaying their Driver ID code within 20 seconds of turning the vehicle on. This dashcam check in associates the driver to the vehicle for 8 hours by default.

Step 1: Ask Zubie to enable Dashcam Driver Check In

Contact Zubie customer support to ask us to enable Dashcam Driver Check In for your account. You can reach us three easy ways:

We’re available 8-5 central, Monday through Friday.

Step 2: Provide unique Driver ID codes to each driver

  • Drivers can access this QR code in the Zubie App by visiting the Check In

  • You may opt to print QR codes for your drivers.

To print multiple Driver QR Codes

  • Access Users from the primary Zubie navigation

  • Select multiple users

  • Click Print Driver IDs at the top of the page

Drivers can also access their individual Driver ID code on the mobile app:

  • Click check in

  • Check in with a mobile QR code

Note that drivers can add this to a google or apple wallet to make it easy to access anytime.

Step 3: Use Driver ID code to check into the vehicle

Turn the vehicle on and watch the dashcam display.

You will see this driver checkin screen for the first 20 seconds the vehicle is on.

Hold your Driver ID QR code up to the right-side of the camera.

You will see a green checkmark display on the camera once your checkin is successful.

The driver is now checked in for 8 hours. If another driver needs to check into the same vehicle within that time, they simply need to turn the vehicle on and display their own Driver ID code.
